Pues eso, que el skater madrileño Adrián del Campo se ha colado en la lista de invitados al Glory Challenge, un evento que nace de la unión de DC Shoes y Dime. El sarao será el próximo 9 de septiembre en Montreal, Canada y consistirá en una serie de pruebas que detallaremos más abajo. SPEED CHALLENGE
The roll-in is your brush and the flatground is your canvas. You are the world’s fastest painter. Athletes will execute their best flatground tricks dropping in from the roll-in. Extra pushes are highly encouraged.
*Speed shades are mandatory.
GANGSTER CHALLENGE
Competitors are requested to perform their most ‘’gangster’’ trick, judged in two equal parts against the quality of style during execution and on form at roll-away. Available obstacles are ledge and couch.
*Licensed firearms are permitted during this challenge provided that security has been noticed 48 hours prior to start of event.
GLADIATOR CHALLENGE
Gladiators will fight for their lives on an elevated disk. The last man or woman standing wins. Step off your board, you’re disqualified. Fall off the disk, you will never skate again.
• 6 groups of 8 skaters
• 6 winners will go again for final round
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GAME OF SKATE
On September 9th, the World Champion must defend his title and prove he is still the best skateboarder alive. Who will rise to the challenge?
Proud Ottawa native, Wade DesArmo is no stranger to the spotlight. After the release of his breakthrough video part in Top of the World’s ‘’Top Dollar’’, Wade quickly rose to international fame as skateboarders everywhere wore his signature 4XL white tee.
Shortly after adjusting his t-shirt size to XL, he was crowned World Champion of Skateboarding in 2015. He remains undefeated.
VALDEZ CHALLENGE
A very special challenge designed by living legend Joe Valdez, pioneer of skinny ledge skating. Competitors will be asked to skate over an expanding gap landing on a skinny ledge. Must rollaway clean.

MYSTERY CHALLENGE
‘’The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.’’
VOLCANO CHALLENGE
75 million years ago, billions of people were murdered via Volcanic cremation. Thetans were unwillingly released into suppressive engrams. This is our chance to get revenge on Xenu. If you don’t care about Scientology, just know that our volcano is designed for optimal propulsion. This is the longest kickflip challenge.
* Kickflips only, those who attempt other flip tricks are subject to interrogation.
* Switch flips will be tolerated.
RACE CHALLENGE
An obstacle race against the clock. Groups of 5 skaters.
Step 1) Drop into the roll in and ollie over 3 consecutive hurdles at maximum speed. Speed shades are mandatory.
Step 2) Confidential.
Step 3) Sprint back to the beginning while jumping over 3 hurdles.
The top 5 will go again for a final round.
